Destiny 2 Guided Games Beta Now Live, Hotfix Deployed For MIDA Mini-Tool Glitch

Seeker status currently limited to select players via tickets.

Server maintenance concluded earlier today for Bungie’s Destiny 2 with the developer deploying a new hotfix for various issues. It also brought the beta for Guided Games, which comes just in time for the weekly reset and a new Nightfall.

Right now, Guided Games is only for the Nightfall and a select group of players will be able to test it. You’ll first need a Nightfall Ticket as a Seeker. From there, navigate to an icon that’s to the bottom right of the Nightfall from the Director and you can select whether to be a Seeker or a Guide (which consists of clan members who will assist someone in a Strike).

Lastly, have 45 minutes on hand and mic hooked up because voice chat is required. Bungie took to Twitter to clarify that the Tickets are available only to select Seekers. Anyone can queue to be a Guide though.

As for the hotfix, it fixes an issue that caused players to not receive the MIDA Mini-Tool if their weapon inventory was full. If yours wasn’t received, just head to Devrim Kay in the European Dead Zone to pick it up. Check out the full patch notes below.
