We’re now days away from Resident Evil Requiem’s release, and the latest trailer for the game has us all the more eager to get our hands on it.
Featuring Nick Apostolides, who’s been playing Leon in the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 4, the trailer focuses on his swanky new ride – a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT that’s been custom-made for the game. The trailer is a fine bridge between Leon’s past and present, and a great way to highlight his character arc. His legacy isn’t set in stone yet, and Requiem is shaping up to be quite the outing for him.
We’ve seen Leon make good use of the car in promotional materials so far, and it seems that there’s a story behind it. Perhaps he’s chosen it for a reason and has had some DSO goodies stashed away in its chassis to help him better deal with the threats he’s about to face? He’s certainly going to need all the help he can get, a nasty axe and some great new moves notwithstanding.
Either way, it’s an awesome set of wheels, and Nick’s presence in the trailer is just icing on the cake. Resident Evil Requiem arrives on February 27th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. However, spoilers are out in the wild with Capcom issuing takedowns and advising fans not to share any leaks.
