One of the most exciting and ambitious upcoming Nintendo Switch games is Monolith Soft’s Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which is meant to be a narrative focused spiritual successor to the seminal Wii original, due out in December this year.
When Xenoblade 2 was first announced in January this year, it… looked rough. It didn’t look the best, graphically speaking (though it was clear it had a pretty artstyle- but on the other hand, the technical side of things looked like it was coming up short).
Since then, Monolith Soft and Nintendo have been working on addressing the shortcomings with the graphics, apparently- something that Nintendo highlighted in a brand new tweet, showing the visual improvements in the latest build of Xenoblade 2, which was shown off at the most recent Nintendo Direct, versus the one we got to see at the game’s debut back in January.
It does look like improvements have been made- and hopefully, the final game will end up living up to everyone’s expectations in all regards, when it launches on Nintendo Switch exclusively, on December 1.
