Assassin’s Creed Origins Xbox One X Gameplay Showcases Side Quest Depth

Side quests have multiple steps and span several areas in ancient Egypt.

Side quests are a pretty big thing in Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Origins. Taking cues from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Horizon: Zero Dawn, side quests are now more like their own detailed stories with NPCs, various goals and areas to explore.

Some new gameplay of one such side quest was captured by DualShockers during a preview event for the game and it also serves as a decent showcase for the Xbox One X. Check it out below.

Side quests in Assassin’s Creed Origins encompass multiple objectives. They’ll also take you across a number of different areas, thus showcasing the scale and beauty of ancient Egypt.

There’s plenty of combat to be had as well if you decide to forego a stealthy approach, which gives way to the revamped combat system and RPG-like gear and stats.

Assassin’s Creed Origins will release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 27th. Expect an Xbox One X patch to arrive when the console launches worldwide on November 7th.
