Warframe Plains of Eidolon Day/Night Cycle Length Revealed

How long can you expect to be hunting the Eidolon in Warframe's next update?

Digital Extremes is still pretty tight-lipped on when Warframe’s Plains of Eidolon expansion, which is set to arrive this week for PC players, will exactly be releasing. Odds are it will be out on Friday, especially since it was a holiday in Canada for the studio.

Still, that doesn’t mean there isn’t enough interesting information to glean. On the official website for Plains of Eidolon, Digital Extremes actually revealed how long the open world area’s day/night cycle would last. Time will pass in the same manner for every player with the day lasting 100 real world minutes while the night is 50 minutes.

What’s so special about this? In Plains of Eidolon, content in the day time is actually easier to handle and will be good for beginning players. By contrast, the night time will be fraught with tougher bounties and the titular Eidolon to hunt. Obviously this content will be better suited for veterans.

Stay tuned for more information on when Plains of Eidolon goes live for Warframe. It won’t be long now.
