Though it seemed like no single release could ever push FIFA 18 off of its throne, the popularity of the Gran Turismo franchise in Europe was apparently enough. According to Gfk Chart-Track’s latest physical sales charts for the week ending October 21st, Gran Turismo Sport debuted in first place. Not only that but it boasted higher first week sales than the very first Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 6 but less than Gran Turismo 5.
FIFA 18 meanwhile fell to second place. WWE 2K18 is yet another new game but arrives in fourth place ahead of Middle Earth: Shadow of War. The Evil Within 2 managed to hit sixth place while Destiny 2 was in seventh and Grand Theft Auto 5 stuck around at eight. Forza Motorsport 7 and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy rounded out the charts.
Again, these are only physical sales numbers and not digital. The overall sales for each title in the region could be higher but we’ll only know for sure in the long run. Let us know what you think of the previous week’s releases in the comments below.
