The one thing that Microsoft has indisputably done far better with the Xbox One X than Sony did with the PS4 Pro – apart from the hardware, at the very least – has been rallying developer support and enthusiasm for the new machine. Developer response to the PS4 Pro was largely lukewarm, and to this day, PS4 Pro enhancements for third party games are never confirmed.
In contrast, Microsoft seems to have managed to get a whole lot more developers and games on board for the Xbox One X, which has not yet even launched. Today, Microsoft posted an updated list of games that will support the new platform- the number is now at over 150, including several high profile games such as Final Fantasy 15 and The Witcher 3.
The best thing is that Microsoft has confirmed that this number is not meant to be final, either, emphasizing that the list will continue to grow as Microsoft continues to finalize talks with more and more developers and publishers. We should see more Xbox One X enhanced games as time goes by.
Xbox One X launches on November 7.
