Hitman Getting Xbox One X Enhancements on November 7

Plus a Game of the Year edition, as well as a brand new campaign, announced too.

IO Interactive have confirmed that Hitman, their excellent episodic reboot of the long running stealth franchise which launched last year, will be getting a Game of the Year edition, which bundles all the episodes and content (except for the live and timebound content) into one package. They also confirmed that the game will be getting a new campaign to boot, titled Patient Zero, as well.

These aren’t the only new changes coming to the game, however- Xbox fans will be excited to know that an Xbox One X update for the game will be coming on November 7 (the same day that the Xbox One X itself releases), which will bring enhancements for Microsoft’s superpowered console to the game. These enhancements will include support for native 4K, as well as a higher framerate, though IO declined to go into more details, stating that more information would be shared shortly.

Still, Hitman, which was already a gorgeous game, in native 4K would be a sight to behold. If native 4K doesn’t matter to you, you can already play the game on a standard Xbox One, or a PS4, or PC.
