Destiny 2 Weekly Reset: The Inverted Spire Nightfall, Flashpoint Nessus and More

Familiar faces, familiar places and still no hint of an end-game? Why, it's the weekly reset!

Posted By | On 07th, Nov. 2017

Destiny 2 (2)

The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny 2, bringing the same familiar activities and challenges. With Milestones and Meditations refreshing, this is your chance to snag some powerful gear en route to hitting the end-game in, oh, a week or so.

The Nightfall is The Inverted Spire with the modifiers Momentum and Timewarp: Rings. Momentum will disable health and shield regeneration if you’re standing still. Moving will trigger it while sprinting will allow for quicker regeneration. Timewarp: Rings requires you to pass through Vex time gate rings in order to extend the Nightfall’s timer. You can check out the challenges for the Nightfall below.

Challenges

  • Speed Of Dark: Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
  • Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
  • The Floor Is Lava: As a fireteam, do not get hit by Protheon’s fiery ground attack before defeating it.

This week’s Flashpoint is Nessus so you’ll have to head there and finish Public Events to earn some Powerful Gear. You can pick up Treasure Maps from Cayde-6 but – surprise, surprise – they’re still bugged and can give you nothing. A new patch is also available for PC players that addresses the frame stuttering issues from the last hotfix. If you haven’t already, then download it now.
