A few days ago, Nintendo hosted a Direct presentation for Monolith Soft’s Xenoblade Chronicles 2. A ton of information was revealed about the game’s battle systems, Blades, exploration and characters. However, it’s also received a special crossover side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The side quest is now live for players who download the latest update and comes with the following details: “The southern sky from the middle of the largest bridge. The eastern sky from the skull’s left eye. The southeastern sky from the peak of the tall, pierced snowy mountain. Look to the night sky at those locations and find the red shooting stars!”

There are three stars in total and those who manage to complete this quest in Breath of the Wild will be able to equip Rex’s outfit on Link. Rex is the protagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, for those wondering. It’s a nice way to have Zelda fans revisit the amazing world of Hyrule though the jury’s still out on how fashionable the outfit actually is.

As for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, it will be launching on December 1st for the Nintendo Switch. A $30 expansion pass was also announced that would deliver support items, new quests, a challenge battle mode and a “brand new story and adventure” in the coming year.
