The Inpatient

PlayStation VR fans that were looking forward to two new titles from Supermassive Games, namely the Until Dawn prequel The Inpatient, and co-op FPS Bravo Team will need to wait till 2018. The developer has announced on its website that the PlayStation VR titles have been delayed.

The Inpatient was set to launch to launch next week but has now been delayed to January 23rd 2018 in North America and January 24th 2018 in Europe. Bravo Team, meanwhile, will be releasing on March 6th 2018 for North America and March 7th 2018 for Europe.

Supermassive’s other big game Hidden Agenda is already available but uses the new PlayLink feature instead of virtual reality. The reason for the delay could be the ever-present need for more polish. One has to wonder if next year’s PS4 release schedule won’t be too crowded with games like Spider-Man and Detroit: Become Human releasing in the first half of 2018. We’ll have to wait and see how it pans out.
