Call of Duty: WW2 Dedicated Servers Live on All Platforms

After numerous issues, Sledgehammer has confirmed that dedicated servers are back online for everyone.

Despite surpassing $500 million in sales within the first three days of release, Call of Duty: WW2 has a number of problems since launch. Server issues, crashes, disconnects, de-ranks – you name and Sledgehammer’s latest has been plagued with it.

To address these issues, the developer took dedicated servers offline over the weekend which meant that players had to deal with peer-to-peer connections instead. Dedicated servers have slowly been re-enabled and Sledgehammer has now confirmed that they are live on all platforms. Any further complaints are to be addressed to Activision’s Support on Twitter.

Sledgehammer Games has also released a new patch for PC which corrects numerous technical issues, improves connection quality and balances out numerous weapons. Players facing crashes once every match ends should now be fine.

To make things even better (sarcasm fully intended), Call of Duty Points aka microtransactions will be going live on November 21st. Players who purchased the game’s digital edition should see their Call of Duty Points being activated for the occasion.
