Recently, there has been plenty of speculation that CD Projekt RED’s upcoming and long-awaited RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, might be going through a bit of a rough patch in its development with unrest at the studio, and though the Polish developer has attempted to comment on these issues and put them to rest, the reports just won’t go away. However, CD Projekt RED president Adam Kiciński remains adamant that the game’s development is facing no issues.

Kiciński recently confirmed in an interview with Polish outlet Puls Biznesu that the game’s development is going well and hasn’t faced any of the issues that reports seem to suggest it has (keep in mind that this is based on a rough translation of the interview).

Kiciński was also asked about the engine that Cyberpunk 2077 is being built on, and if CD Projekt RED completed working on it, to which he replied that the engine for the game was up and running. Kiciński also commented that thanks to the fact that the market constantly keeps receiving new and more powerful technologies, the studio is constantly updating and adding stuff to its engine, which means the work on it is never truly completed.

Cyberpunk 2077 has no release date or even a release window yet, but we’re constantly bringing more and more updates, so stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage.
