Sledgehammer Bringing New Weapons To Supply Drops In Call Of Duty: WWI2

Amidst controversies over microtransactions, Sledgehammer Games is bringing new weapons to supply drops.

It would seem that the controversy surrounding microtransactions will continue for a while now with Sledgehammer Games bringing new types of weapons to loot drops in Call of Duty: WWII. The game already offers two kinds of supply drops , regular and rare and soon enough we’ll get to see Legendary, Epic and Weapon Supply drops.

While the presence of cosmetic items in the game is completely find, allowing players to outright buy weapons in the game grants them an unfair advantage in multiplayer scenarios. This means that the game is effectively endorsing a pay-to-win model. The weapons will be available with a base variant and with other variants also available.

As of now, we do not have information about when these new weapon drops will become available in game. It’s probable that they will be made available on the same day as when COD points (currency bought with real money) become available which is November 21st.

The following is a list some of the new weapons that will be available.

  • Volkstrumgewehr
  • Beretta 38
  • Sten
  • Winchester 94 Lever Action
  • Enfield No. 2
  • Walther P38
  • Breda 30
  • M1919
  • MG81
  • Arisaka
  • Gewehr 43
  • Type 5
  • Reichs Revolver
  • Icepick
  • Combat Knife
  • Trench Knife
