We had earlier reported on how DICE was looking to address the issue of AFK farming in Star Wars Battlefront II. However, no fix has been released as of yet to address this problem. AFK farming is when players are basically gaming the system so as to earn in-game credits without actually playing the game. This makes it very unfair to other players who are spending their precious time grinding in the game for those credits. Now, developer Sajukaar has confirmed on the official forums that a fix is still incoming and that it will be released soon.
The fix is planned to be released via a server-wide update. No exact dates have been given regarding this update but the developer stated that it will be “hopefully out as soon as possible.”
It has already been a while since DICE have been aware of the problem , so this fix can’t come soon enough. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see how the developers aim to fix this issue.
