New Final Fantasy 15 Trailer Highlights Combat For Episode Ignis

Players can come up with a new recipe in the heat of battle.

Rounding out a years worth of additional content for the latest entry in the storied Final Fantasy series, a new trailer has just been dropped for the final story episode for the main cast, Episode Ignis.

The trailer highlights the combat with Ignis in battle against some massive mechs while overlooking some of the game’s stunning vistas. Some of his new abilities are on full display, including a high jump and the ability to cook up a quick meal, even in the middle of a hectic battle. A new recipe waits for no rocket, several of which get shrugged off by a cooking Ignis, too focused on his food to pay attention to the missiles and gunfire.

Following this episode’s release, sometime later this month we can expect the anniversary update to bring some major changes to the base game. The PC version of the game is expected sometime in 2018.
