The new feature will allow players to play as Prompto, Gladio and Ignis throughout battles and in the field.

Final Fantasy 15  has been receiving new content throughout the year (Episode Ignis was only released recently). Now, Square Enix has released a new update for the game which brings the version to 1.20. The new patch brings with it a number of bug fixes but the highlight is the feature which allows players to swap characters and play as either Ignis, Gladio or Prompto throughout the main story of the game.

In a game that features four different characters on a road trip, it seemed likely that all four would be playable at some point but it’s nice that the feature has been added now. Additionally, music from Episode Ignis and the Comrades expansion has also been added.

The update is available now and should be a good enough reason to jump back into the game and experience it from the different perspectives of the rest of Noctis’ team.
