Final Fantasy 7 Remake And Kingdom Hearts 3 Ranked Number 2 And 3 In Famitsu Charts

Monster Hunter World, predictably enough, tops the charts.

The Famitsu charts haven’t been reflective of the wider sales performance of multiple games in the Japanese market for a very long time- as an example, a Pokemon game has never topped the charts, while each new Pokemon game ends up outselling most of the games that do top the Most Wanted charts. Still, they are a good way to assess the general excitement level for an upcoming game among the Japanese core audiences.

And so we have this week’s Famitsu charts, which see, predictably enough, Monster Hunter World right at the top, followed by Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3Persona Q2 for some reason is at number 6, and I say for some reason because outside of a logo, we have nothing else for it.

Monster Hunter World, of course, is expected to do very well once it finally launches on January 26- albeit of course, we can expect sales to decline compared to the 3DS and PSP versions, but on the other hand, its a console Monster Hunter, and we’ve wanted that for the longest time now.
