The latest entry in the Gran Turismo series is Gran Turismo Sport and it was released only recently. Now, on the official website for the franchise, Polyphone Digital has announced that they will soon be shutting down the online servers for Gran Turismo 6.

The online servers will be shut down on March 28, 2018 at 12:00 UTC. Additionally, distribution of DLC content will stop by January 31st. While the game can still be played in its single-player mode, the game will no longer support any online functionality. In-game credits will becomes useless after this point so it would be wise to make use of whatever remaining in-game credits you might have before the given date.

The team behind the game expressed their gratitude to the community who supported the game by buying it and stated that they will “continue to further improve the online services for the currently available title Gran Turismo Sport.” Although Gran Turismo Sport is a solid game, it has some issues which we discussed in our review. Hopefully, the team will continue to work hard on the game and we’ll be able to notice improvements soon enough.
