Fist of the North Star’s Hokuto ga Gotoku First Gameplay Revealed By Sega

Fans chomping at the bit for a peek at the Yakuza styled Fist of the North Star game coming to PS4 have just had their wishes granted by SEGA during a livestream with the General Director and Sega Chief Creative Officer Toshihiro Nagoshi and Producer Daisuke Sato.

Sato played a brief while of the very beginning of the game for the watching fans, and while the tutorial segments are certainly familiar to anyone who’s touched the Yakuza series before, the Fist of the North Star specific elements such as Hokuto Shinken add a special spin.

There’s no information on a western launch still, but it’s likely to come sometime after the Japanese launch on March 8th. If you’re the adventurous type, this same demo that was played in the video below will likely become available on the Japanese PlayStation Store sometime soon.
