We’ve moved into 2018 now, and with each day, the launch of BioWare’s next big game, Anthem, draws closer. And as it does, we expect to hear more and more about the game. We’ve got a report on it for you today, and though it’s not exactly meaty, it’s something.

There were rumours going around the internet that Anthem would feature dynamic difficulty adjustment, which basically means that the game would allow players to adjust the game’s difficulty on the fly during both, PvE and PvP, which would lead to lopsided and unbalanced matchmaking, and all for the purpose of “player engagement” and monetization.

In the Reddit post, however, BioWare’s Brennon Holmes replied to confirm that that was not going to be the case. “I’m not sure where this is really coming from,” Holmes said. “We’re not doing any of that though.” So yeah, there you have it. It’s good to see that BioWare moved quickly to quash untrue rumours.

In related news, BioWare’s Alain Baxter also recently took to Twitter to confirm that Anthem has just gone through another milestone review at BioWare. While we don’t know what exactly this means, and what the review was about, we can safely assume that the game’s development is progressing nicely.

Anthem launches later this year for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC, though it is currently without an exact release date. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage on the game.
