Sea of Thieves might be the big Xbox One game that is getting all the attention at the moment, but Xbox fans can also expect State of Decay 2, the far expanded sequel to the cult hit zombie survival game, hitting their consoles this year. And if you’ve been wondering when you will get to hear more about it, the good news is that might be happening soon- according to Aaron Greenberg, more news about the game will be coming “soon”.
As for Sea of Thieves, development on the game is coming along well, according to Xbox boss Phil Spencer. Speaking on Twitter, Spencer also noted how heartened he was at seeing the response to the game’s beta.
Sea of Thieves isn’t the only shared world game coming to Xbox One this year either- another one, and one which has received rave acclaim, is Monster Hunter World, which launches today on Xbox One and PS4 (with a PC release following later). Speaking on Twitter, Phil Spencer also congratulated Capcom on Monster Hunter World, calling it a great step forward for the IP.
Hopefully, Xbox fans take to Monster Hunter World as well as they did to Sea of Thieves– it is an incredible game, and it deserves all of the success that it can get.

I agree. Always believed MH could be a huge global franchise and this is a great step for Capcom with this IP. Awesome job on MH: World.

I was up at Rare on Tuesday and the team is really doing great work. The response to the beta has been nice to see. Great screen shots btw.
