I think you are now ready, ready for another patch for the game.

Nintendo has released the newest update for its seminal action adventure game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which launched almost a year ago to widespread acclaim, some of the highest scores in history, over 150 Game of the Year awards, and over 7 million copies sold.

This latest update is actually going to be one that won’t add much of use for most readers of this site- basically, it adds Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language support to the game. Please note, however, that these languages are only supported fo text and subtitles- the actual voice acting will switch to Japanese if you opt to play through the game in these languages.

You can check out the official patch notes for the new update for yourself below. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available now on Nintendo Switch and Wii U, along with both of its expansions.

  • You can now select Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), or Korean in the language settings menu on the Switch console to display text in the selected language.
    • Voice Language selection is not supported for the above languages. If you choose “Match System Settings” in Options, voice data will be set to Japanese.
  • Various fixes to improve gameplay.
