Dandara

Long Hat House’s Dandara, a 2D platformer where players have to traverse levels without the benefit of gravity, is releasing today. Set in the world of Salt, players take on the role of Dandara, a powerful warrior who seeks to save people from their oppression. Check out the launch trailer for the game below.

Available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android, Dandara explores a very cool concept for a platformer. You’ll traverse levels by jumping from one surface to the next. It sounds simple but the level design, complete with the rejection of gravity, creates an amazingly unique experience.

It’s also easy to control whether you’re on touchscreen or gamepad (at least that’s what the developer claims). Combat is also important as you earn different powerups and take on imposing bosses. The 2D pixel art is especially enticing and we’re thrilled to give it a shot when it’s finally available. Head on over to Steam to pick the game up today.
