A free update is available for Nintendo’s Super Mario Odyssey on the Switch and it offers a new mini-game that has multiplayer functionality and two new filters in Snapshot Mode. There’s also a “range of new outfits” for players to equip Mario with.

First things first, the new Balloon World mini-game can be played once the main story has been completed. You then need to find Luigi in each Kingdom and have two different options – the “Hide It” mode and “Find It” mode. “Hide It” involves hiding balloons inside different stages as other players rush to find them. “Find It” is about finding other balloons that players have stashed within stages.

Regardless of which you pursue, you’ll see your Rank increase. The overall atmosphere will also change in each city in Balloon World. New Donk City will be raining in the daytime while Tostarena will have a beautiful sunset to witness.

The two new Snapshot filters are Coin and Neon while the new outfits are The Sunshine, Musician and Knight Armour. Once again, finish the main story and you’ll be able to purchase these outfits from the shop.
