Call of Duty: WW2 New Update Speeds Up Gamplay, Balances Quickscoping

How will the community take to these changes?

A brand new patch for Sledgehammer’s Call of Duty: WW2 makes some pretty substantial changes to the title that will have some far reaching implications for how it is played, and how the metagame is structured. The most immediately noticeable change, which is sure to prove divisive among the community, is that the entire game now plays faster- while a lot of the community was asking for changes to this effect, you can bet that this won’t sit well with others.

On the other hand, quickscoping has been nerfed, too, mostly because ADS transition times for popular quickscoping rifles have been nerfed- which should hopefully lead to less of a reliance on it by players.

You can check out the full patch notes for the new update over on he Call of Duty: WW2 subredditCall of Duty: WW2 launched late last year. It is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
