Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is Now a Play Anywhere Game

Well that's good, I think?

Capcom has actually been one of the few enthusiastic third party supporters of Microsoft’s store on Windows 10, and their UWP initiative- notably, last year, the Windows Store version of Resident Evil 7 was Play Anywhere with the Xbox One version of the game (and vice versa). To their credit, they have added another major game to that list.

The Windows Store listing for Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, the troubled newest entry in the beloved, fan favorite crossover fighting game franchise, has been updated to reflect its new status as a Play Anywhere game- simply put, this means that if you buy the Windows 10 version, you get the Xbox One version for free (and vice versa). The price of the game has also been reduced from $60 to $40. Maybe that will induce you to purchase the game, sales for which have been rather sluggish so far.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
