Amazon Echo and Google Home Now Let You Talk to Pikachu

I guess it's time to buy an Echo, then.

Okay, so today is Pokemon Day, and as well all know, Nintendo and other companies have been celebrating the occasion with some cool Pokemon themed tweets and the like. But the best thing to come out of this entire celebration might be this: apparently, a new Pikachu skill for your Amazon Echo and app for Google Home will now let you talk to Pikachu at home.

Pikachu seems to be really chatty, too- he seems to be very expressive, talks a lot, and will even sing for you. This is utterly fantastic, and is so far the best and most compelling reason I have seen to look into investing in an Echo for myself. Which I will now have to, because really, there can be nothing better than talking to a Pikachu.

Hopefully, all of this ties into Pokemon, which is due to launch for the Nintendo Switch (currently later this year) being great.
