Fortnite Battle Royale Solid Gold

Epic Games’ Fortnite: Battle Royale currently has a limited time mode going on called Solid Gold. It allows players to find Legendary loot everywhere on the map, whether it’s in chests or in the open. Since these weapons are the best in the game, matches can become quite chaotic. Or at least they will be for another hour or so – the Solid Gold limited time mode is ending at 5 AM PT/8 AM ET today.

The mode is only limited to Squads, thus leaving Solo and Duo players out in the cold. Still, it’s great incentive if you’ve ever wanted to have a Legendary SCAR, Minigun, Hand Cannon and Rocket Launcher (among other weapons) in your loadout at any given time. Plus, you complete Battle Pass Challenges in this mode which is even better.

Expect more limited time mods for Fortnite: Battle Royale including the imminent return of 50v50 with some tweaks to make it more like the initial trailer. What are your thoughts on Solid Gold and should it return? Let us know in the comments.
