Overwatch Retribution

On the first day of Overwatch League’s Stage 3 matches, game director Jeff Kaplan came out to reveal gameplay footage for Overwatch Retribution. As part of Overwatch Archives, Retribution will be the second lore-based PvE mission to hit the game after Uprising. Check out the trailer below.

The mission takes place in the past with Blackwatch, Overwatch’s elite black ops group, traveling to Venice to capture a high-ranking individual in Talon. Of course, something goes wrong (which can be heard in the trailer’s narration) and the group must fight their way out. Along with Reaper, Genji and McCree, Moira will be joining the fray as well. New enemies like Talon assassins, heavy assault units and snipers can also be seen.

Along with Retribution’s lore-based mode, there will also be an “All Heroes” variant that lets you select any character you want. Uprising will also make a return in Story and All Heroes variants. There will also be new cosmetics to obtain in limited time event loot boxes from new skins and highlight intros to emotes and sprays. Over 100 items will be available from last year with 60 new items being added.

Overwatch Retribution goes live on April 10th for PS4, Xbox One and PS4.
