Electronic Arts continues to expand on its Origin Access service, bringing more free games to its Vault on May 17th. The five games in question – Europa Universalis 3 Complete, Knights of Pen and Paper: +1 Edition, The Guest, Hearts of Iron 3, and Victoria I Complete – come from third party developers. As with other games, once these titles are added to the Vault, they’ll remain there forever.
Origin Access is available for PC users for $5 per month or $30 per year. Along with providing over 80 games in its Vault that can be played for as long as one would like, Origin Access also provides time-limited trials for its upcoming games. Subscribers also receive a 10 percent discount on all digital purchases, further providing an incentive to pick up full releases after testing their trials.
EA Access on the Xbox One offers pretty much the same service, though Origin Access arguably beats it out thanks to a number of PC exclusives. What are your thoughts on Origin Access? Let us know in the comments below.
