Sony Will Announce Three PS4 Games and a Release Date This Week

As well as a few PSVR games.

E3 is almost here- and ahead of the event proper (which kicks off next week, with Sony’s own conference being held on Monday evening), they have decided to let everyone have a taste of the festivities early. Sony has confirmed today that it will be announcing three new PS4 games this week, one a day every day, as well as a release date for a previously announced title.

On June 6 (that is, Wednesday), Sony will be announcing a new PS4 game with PlayStation VR support. Things get serious on June 7 (Thursday), when the release date of a Sony first party game is announced- it could go either way, but I assume it will be for Dreams. On June 8, Sony reveals another new PS4 game, while a new PSVR game is announced on June 9. Meanwhile, on June 10 (which is Sunday), Sony will announce the PSVR release of “an eagerly anticipated game”.

The best part? Sony is promising even more for their actual E3 event, billing it as “the main course”- so you shouldn’t be worried that this will ruin the surprises for their E3 show or anything like that. On the contrary, it sounds like they will have so many things to announce, they’re just getting some of it out of the way early.
