Nintendo is going to have a streamed presentation at E3 this year again, continuing their tradition of eschewing live conferences at the event since 2013. And if you were worried that this stream might have a lot of, say, 3DS, or Labo, or something like that- so things that may be cool on their own merits, but are not what you want to see at E3- then there’s some good news. Nintendo has confirmed that, much like last year, their E3 show will feature only Switch games.
Nintendo has also reiterated that their show this year will focus only on 2018 games- of course, there is a possibility that they may tease games from beyond 2018 (for instance, Nintendo promised 2017 titles for their E3 show last year, then went ahead and announced Pokemon and Metroid Prime 4, both 2019 games, for the system anyway). But maybe that’s something you should keep in mind- Nintendo intends solely to focus on what’s coming over the next few months.
You can, of course, tune in to GamingBolt for the lowdown from Nintendo’s show next week as it happens.
