Remedy Entertainment’s Control is the developer’s newest triple-A title and unlike Quantum Break, it will be releasing for multiple platforms in 2019. To talk more about the game and showcase some sweet new gameplay, Remedy Entertainment’s Thomas Puha and Anna Megill sat down with PlayStation Live at E3 2018.

Taking place in the Oldest House, the location for the Bureau of Control, the game embodies a supernatural premise with constantly changing rooms and crazy abilities. As Jesse, director of the bureau, players will have to deal with Hiss, a dangerous threat that’s attacking the Oldest House. Throughout the journey, there will be bodies just floating through the air and areas changing at the drop of hat. Of course, some of those bodies could be enemies that will drop down and fight.

Along with a powerful sidearm (which can be upgraded), Jesse utilizes different abilities in combat like telepathically pulling objects and tossing them at enemies. She can also lift rubble off the ground and use it as a shield in front of her or throw it at a nearby enemy. Coloured lighting and atmospheric smoke really drive home the game’s incredible atmosphere.

Control is currently in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on the game? Let us know below.
