A new trailer was revealed for Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 this year, and a wealth of new details were also shared by the developers. Now, YouTuber AngryJoeShow got to catch up with the developers and talk about some of the exciting features that will be present in the game.

From the interview, we learn that there will be a great degree of personalization available to every player. In fact each version of the protagonist will have a different path which in turn depends on what kind of personalization/customization the player has done.

The developer stated, “Another thing that’s amazing and cool is in this day of more internet connections, what’s gonna happen is somebody will go down one of those paths and are gonna go ‘You didn’t see Royce and those guys? Oh man!’ And then everybody is gonna run over there and they’re going to replay and because of the nature of the design, choices matter, and you just can’t do it in a linear fashion which means there are going to be people exploring every which way and they’re gonna find certain things don’t work. They’re gonna go ‘Well yeah, I can do this as V in this version of V but this other incarnation had a different life-path, a different background, so it’s going to have a sense of personalization for every damn run you take. ”

What this means is that every player’s experience with the protagonist’s story is going to be quite distinct and unique. This is certainly one of the coolest features about the game as it will also allow for a great degree of replayability. This just gets us even more excited for the game. Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
