Dragon Ball FighterZ launched for PS4, Xbox One, and PC earlier this year to general praise, and the most success a Dragon Ball game by Bandai Namco has seen yet. Now, it will be coming over to Nintendo’s hybrid console- and ahead of that, Ryokutya reports that Bandai Namco and Arc Systems Works will let players go hands on with it with a beta test.
The beta test for the Switch version of the game is scheduled for August, with more specific dates presumably to be shared closer to when it’s due to go live. In other good news, it has also been confirmed that the Switch version will have the capability for local 3v3 matches, which should be fun when you’re on the go. I wonder if Joycons will be supported for this mode.
Finally, Bandai Namco has also confirmed base form Vegeta and Goku will be added to the game as DLC in early August. Presumably, they will be available on the Switch from the get go, when that version launches on September 28 worldwide.
