Foxconn and Pegatron Technology, the two companies who assembled the PS3, will be starting the production of the PS4 at the end of 2011, aiming for a 2012 release, or so digitimes claim. It is important to note that this contradicts Sony’s widely reported long-term plan to keep the PS3 going for another console cycle. The report also claimed that the PS4 will utilise a Kinect style body sensor controller. Sony have, as of yet, not made comment on the claim.
