Time travels really fast these days. Half of 2011 is done and dusted with and there have been some great games for all the gaming systems out there in the market.  The PS3 specifically has had an awesome 2011 with all the exclusive support from the developers. With Killzone 3, inFamous 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2 already out, many would have thought that is all the big exclusives that Sony had to offer. But worry not. Through this article we will give you the list of six games that you can play in the next six months (in no order). So without any delays let’s check them out.

Resistance 3

Release Date: September 9th, 2011

Resistance is to Sony what Halo is to Microsoft. Even though some gamers might argue that Killzone deserves that spot but according to me the overall multiplayer experience is much better than Guerrilla Game’s sci-fi shooter.  Resistance Fall of Man and Resistance 2 were awesome games in their own rights, but the third instalment is planning to push it even further. Resistance 3 takes place four years after the events of the second game where Capelli  has to fight the brutal invasion of the Chimera. The game will take place in Ney York and Oklahoma. The visuals look sharper than any other game in the franchise and players can expect a solid 16 player competitive online multiplayer.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception

Release Date: November 1st, 2011

Nathan Drake and his gang are back for a third iteration in the heart pounding Uncharted franchise.  Expect the game to have some solid visuals, brilliant action sequences and a solid multiplayer if the ongoing beta is of any indication. Drake will trace the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia as he tries to find clues to the lost city in the Middle East. Uncharted 3’s community strategist has states that Uncharted 3 has a Hollywood feel to it and the motion capture/voice acting will be of very high standards. If you have a 3D television than playing the game in 3D will be the best possible experience.

Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One

Release Date: October 18th, 2011

Regardless of what some of the critics state about the recent two Ratchet and Clank games,  I for one believe that Crack In Time and Tools of Destruction are easily the best platformers of this generation. Insomniac Games are planning to build on that success by adding a four player co-operative mode, featuring Ratchet, Clank, the hilarious Captain Qwark and the evil Doctor Nefarious. The plot forces the players to let the arch enemies work together and find a way out of a mysterious machine called as the Creature Collector.
