Fortnite Battle Royale

If you’ve been playing Fortnite for a while, then you’re probably aware of the weekly challenges that are released for it by Epic. For a while now, there have been a few free challenges, as well as some challenges that are exclusvie to Battle Pass owners. While the Week 8 challenges haven’t been officially revealed yet, they have been leaked ahead of time, which allows us a glimpse into what they might be.

The leak was provided by Fortnite Tracker on Twitter, who datamine Fortnite’s files for new information whenever a new patch is released. One of the new challenges follows the format of having to search chests, and this time around you will have to search 7 of them in the Wailing Woods. Another challenge requires you to place ten traps, which should be easy enough, since you don’t need to get any damage from the traps. There is also one of the usual elimination challenges, and for this week you are required to get four Shotgun eliminations. These three are the free challenges of the week.

As for the Battle Pass exclusive challenges, there is another elimination challenge, but this one will be divided into multiple stages. There will also be a challenge requiring you to deal 250 damage to enemies using just a pickaxe, which should definitely be fun. The next challenge requires you to use the Rift at different Rift spawn locations- this, incidentally, is a challenge we saw not too long ago. The last of the challenges is the treasure hunt challenge, which will have you searching between three oversized seats for the Battle Star.

If you want help completing the previous week’s challenges, check out our guide for it.
