The much-requested solo mode will be available until September 6, and brings special rewards for top players.

The Hunt: Showdown brings an interesting twist to the Battle Royale genre to gamers, and if you’ve seen its tutorial video, you would know how exactly it plays out. In the Early Access version of the game, you will have to team up with another player as you go up against other teams. Players have been requesting the developers to add a solo mode to the game for a while now, and this is exactly what they’ve done with the game’s first Live Event.

The Solo Bounty mode will allow players to play solo, without a teammate, against ten other players, and this mode will only be available to try out until September 6 at 10 AM ET. There’s some added incentive to try it out too, because the top players in the mode will get some neat rewards. The top 50 will receive 3500 gold, while the top 10 will receive the same amount of gold and a custom Hunter name for a single Hunter. The top 5 players will receive all of this along with 3 tools of choice, 3 weapons of choice with one each of a large, small, and medium weapon, consumables of choice and traits worth 50 points. The top 3 players will receive all of the top 5 rewards along with an extra Prestige level.

Hunt: Showdown is currently in Early Access on PC, and will soon be available on Xbox Game Preview.
