It comes in at over 46GB- that is one hefty game.

Insomniac’s Spider-Man launches for the PS4 this Friday, but your have the chance to download it ahead of what is bound to be a mad rush of everyone trying to grab it for themselves right then by pre-loading it to your console right now. The Spider-Man pre-load, which many have been waiting for, is available now on the PSN Store for anyone who has pre-ordered the game digitally.

The pre-load comes in at an eye watering 46.225GB; because of how the PS4 manages its files and free space on its hard drive, you will probably need a fair bit more open space than that to be able to even initiate the download. This, again, makes it one of the bigger Sony first party games as file sizes go (which makes sense, given how stunning the game looks, graphically speaking).

But it will be worth it- in spite of some stumbles, Spider-Man is one for the ages, as GamingBolt’s review will tell you. The game will release digitally and at retail this Friday.
