The last Mortal Kombat game was Mortal Kombat X, and it was obviously very successful, but it has been a few years now since its release. Fans have been waiting for information on a sequel with bated breath, and new information suggests that it might be in the works.
At the Mo Game Con convention which recently took place in Missouri, Real Gamer Newz had a talk with Richard Divizio and Master Daniel Pesina, both of whom have previously done motion capture work for past games in the Mortal Kombat series, and Pesina, who is also a Master at Chicago Wushu School of Kung Fu and Tai Chi, confirmed that his brother as well as his students are currently doing motion capture work for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11.
Of course, it goes without saying that this isn’t an official confirmation by any means, and the connection might also seem a little thin, but the fact remains that Mortal Kombat XI is long overdue, and the complete radio silence by Neatherrealm Studios on that front is speaking volumes as is. It definitely remains a possibility that the game will be officially confirmed sooner rather than later- for now, though, take this with a pinch of salt.
