Turn 10 Studios has been hard at work, improving various aspects of their 2017 racing sim Forza Motorsport 7. After announcing that they would be completely removing loot boxes from the game, which was one of the most commonly cited criticisms in the title, Turn 10 confirmed not long after that they weren’t working on Forza Motorsport 8, or even an expansion for their already released game, but that the entire studio was instead focused on working on Forza Motorsport 7.

In the latest Forza Monthly update video, we received some information about just what results that work is going to yield. Creative director Chris Esaki revealed that several core mechanics and systems of the racing sim are being reworked entirely. Things such as physics, collisions, and handling, are being reworked. Meanwhile, Turn 10 is also looking into reworking the Force Feedback system. On top of that, they’re also currently working on including a player-rated multiplayer experience in the game.

When these updates might be released is something Esaki didn’t go into, but at the very least, it’s great to see that the developer didn’t just completely forget about the game once it was out on shelves, and that they’ve instead chosen to improve aspects that need improving based on the feedback they’ve been getting from fans and players.

You can watch the entire video below. Forza Motorsport 7 is currently available on Xbox One and PC.
