That’s a fantastic month all around, probably the best Games with Gold month yet.

Battlefield 1

Microsoft has had some very weak months for their Games with Gold service for a while now, but the announced Games with Gold lineup for the month of November should make up for all of that, and then some. In November, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can look forward to a bevy of fantastic AAA games.

Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb has announced on Twitter that Xbox 360 users will get Dante’s Inferno as well as the original Assassin’s Creed. Both titles will also be available to Xbox One owners, since both will be playable on the console via the backward compatibility functionality. Xbox One owners, meanwhile, get the excellent Battlefield 1, the World War 1 focused shooter DICE and EA released two years ago.

They also get Race the Sun, rounding off an incredible showing for the month overall. Battlefield 1, especially, is a great game, and people in the mood for some Battlefield not ready to spend money on Battlefield 5 just yet will probably enjoy it.
