Pokemon Let’s Go Gets Special Video Showing Footage of Lavender Town to Celebrate Halloween

They nailed the atmosphere perfectly, surprisingly enough.

Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu

One of the most iconic and enduring locales in the entire Pokemon series to this day is Lavender Town from the original games. There’s so many reasons for why Lavender Town caught the imagination, and refused to let go. The town is home to Pokemon Tower, a graveyard for dead Pokemon. It features one of the darkest and most surprising storylines in the entire series. It has extremely creepy music, with all sorts of urban legends attached to it.

Basically, it’s spooky all around, which makes it perfect for Halloween. Which is why Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have shared a brand new video of Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! that focuses on showing off new footage of Lavender Town, in all its creepy and eerie splendour and glory.

Incredibly enough, the remix for the Lavender Town theme sounds perfectly creepy—at least as far as this goes, the atmosphere was captured perfectly. Fans, check it out—but do so at your own risk.

Pokemon Let’s Go launches for Nintendo Switch on November 16. If you’re interested in getting it, make sure to check out details on the Master Trainers that will comprise its post game.
