IO Interactive have rolled out a hotfix for the PC version of their recently released sandbox stealth title, Hitman 2. Two issues that PC players have mentioned with some frequency since the game’s launch have been addressed with the latest patch, details for which are as follows.

For starters, those who were playing Hitman 2 on PCs that use AMD Phenom CPUs may have been facing some issues, where trying to launch a mission in the game would cause the entire game to crash and take you to the desktop. That issue seems to have been addressed.

Additionally, issues with HDR have also been fixed. To be more specific, you can now play Hitman 2 with HDR enabled in Exclusive Fullscreen- to do this, you must first have the ‘HDR and WCG’ in your OS’ ‘Display’ options disabled. IO Interactive have also noted that they will “continuing to work on and improve this feature in future updates.”

In related news, Nvidia also recently released their newest Game Ready driver, and Hitman 2 is one of the games it supports, so if your system can support it and you’re planning on playing Hitman 2, you might want to give it a took. Read more on that through here.

Hitman 2 is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Make sure you read our review for it to get our impressions on the game (spoilers: we loved it).
