Super Smash Bros. Ultimate boasted extremely impressive sales figures in last week’s Media Create charts for the highest selling software in Japan, debuting at the top spot with over 1.2 million units sold in just three days. Nintendo’s fighter remains on top this week as well. It’s seen a drop of over 60 per cent in its second week, selling over 400,000 units to retain the perch position.

Meanwhile, God Eater 3 and Judgment have both debuted strongly as well, charting in the second and third positions respectively. God Eater 3 sold over 150,000 units, while Judgment also enjoyed strong sales, with a little over 148,000 units sold. Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee!, which has been enjoying strong sales consistently ever since its launch, sold well once again, coming in at fourth position with over 108,000 units sold.

Other Nintendo Switch evergreens such as Super Mario Party, Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe all continued to exhibit strong legs as always, and are all in the top 10, making for a top half of the charts that is very Nintendo dominated.

On the hardware front, in spite of the massive surge in sales last week, the Nintendo Switch refused to drop off, topping hardware charts yet again and actually selling slightly more than last week’s charts, moving over 281,000 units. The PS4 also enjoyed similar growth, selling over 81,000 units collectively (base model and Pro sales combined), up from roughly 75,000 units last week.

You can take a look at the full hardware and software charts below.
