Mortal Kombat 11

About a week ago, thanks to files found for Mortal Kombat 11’s Steam Achievements, there were reports of leaks for characters in the game’s roster that haven’t yet been announced. Just recently, in fact, one of the characters that was part of this leak was confirmed to be in the game (that being the staff wielding Jade). But how does NeatherRealm Studios boss Ed Boon respond to these leaks?

He responds to them in the manner that you’d expect from him- with a couple of cheeky and amusing tweets. In one tweet, Boon writes, “Hey Sonya… what are your thoughts on leaks?” while attaching a clip of the character engaging in some run-off-the-mill Mortal Kombat-style gratuitous violence. In a second tweet, Boon jokingly confirmed Blanche as a character in Mortal Kombat 11’s roster, a character who, as fans would know, has largely only served the purpose of literally being thrown around by the more powerful people of the series’ universe.

In somewhat related news, D’Vorah and Kabal were both confirmed to be part of the game’s roster of fighters as well (incidentally, both were also mentioned in the aforementioned leak). Mortal Kombat 11 launches on April 23 for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
