The Dark Souls series doesn’t exactly have soundtracks with rousing melodies that you want to listen to as a pick-me-up when you feel down and depressed, but it does have some incredible music regardless—chilling to the bone, and facilitating the games’ amazing atmosphere along the way.
Now, Bandai Namco are going to be making it easier for you to enjoy (is that the right word here for soundtrack that goes to a game that “prepares [you] to die”?) the wonderful music of the bleak world of Dark Souls. The soundtracks for all three Dark Souls games—Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, and Dark Souls 3—are available to listen to now on Spotify. Sadly, the Dark Souls series does not include Bloodborne, which is actually my favorite soundtrack among games of this sort, and which I would have loved to listen to.
