Bethesda has sent a legal notice to the Nordic developer Markus ‘Notch’ Persson, creator of Minecraft. Bethesda says the word “Scrolls” in his new game infringed trademarks, and that people might confuse it with Elder Scrolls.
“Just got a letter from Bethesta’s [sic] lawyers. They claim “Scrolls” infringes on their trademark and everyone will confuse it with Skyrim,” Persson tweeted.
